Progressing in my sculpting studies, this time with an oil based clay called NSP by Chavant. The workflow is rather different to water based clay, theres much more prep work involved and less fluidity in the sculpting progress, due to the fact it is a lot harder to adjust and shape forms with your fingers once the clay begins to harden. But the ability to carve and sculpt forms and details is unmatched to water based clay.
Here are 2 wip shots, primary and secondary forms and details are all done, just need to touch up with fine tertiary details and smooth things out a bit.
